Stiff Person Awareness

SIP PERSONS WARRIOR

Living with Stiff Person Syndrome has challenged me, but it has never defined me. Every day is a testament to God’s grace, His strength, and His faithfulness. I may face obstacles that others cannot see, but I choose to stand in faith, walk in purpose, and fight with hope.

Being a SPS Warrior means refusing to let the diagnosis have the final say. It means believing that every setback is an opportunity for God to reveal His power, every trial becomes part of my testimony, and every step forward is a victory worth celebrating.

I am not just surviving—I am overcoming. I am stronger than my spasms, greater than my fears, and covered by the promises of God. My story is proof that resilience, faith, and purpose can shine even in the hardest seasons.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

I am a SPS Warrior. I fight with faith. I lead with purpose. I live with hope. And my testimony will inspire others to never give up. 💗🎗️

Quality First

QUALITY FIRST. 💜

Living with Stiff Person Syndrome means learning to honor your body, listen to its signals, and prioritize quality of life—not simply pushing through the hard days.

Quality first means choosing proper care, following your treatment plan, allowing yourself time to rest, and surrounding yourself with people who understand that every day can look different.

I may have SPS, but SPS does not define my purpose. I’m committed to taking care of myself, walking in faith, and giving God glory through every step of this journey.

Quality first. Faith always. One day at a time. 🙏🏽💜

Expert Care

Expert Care for Stiff Person Syndrome

Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) is a rare, complex neurological disorder that requires specialized, individualized care. Expert care focuses on accurate diagnosis, controlling muscle stiffness and spasms, protecting mobility, and addressing the autoimmune component of the condition.

A knowledgeable SPS care team may include neurologists/neuroimmunologists, physical and occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other specialists depending on the person’s symptoms. Treatment may include symptom-management medications, immunotherapies such as IVIG when appropriate, and rehabilitation therapies.

Quality care matters. Expert care matters. And every SPS journey deserves to be taken seriously.
Because living with SPS isn’t simply about managing stiffness—it’s about protecting mobility, independence, safety, and quality of life.

Real Results

Real Results With Stiff-Person Syndrome

Stiff-person syndrome (SPS) is a serious neurological disorder, but real improvement is possible with appropriate treatment and specialized care. The goal is often to reduce symptoms, preserve mobility, prevent falls, and improve quality of life—not necessarily to “cure” SPS.

Documented treatment results include:

  • Less muscle stiffness and fewer spasms
  • Improved walking and balance
  • Fewer falls
  • Greater ability to perform daily activities
  • Reduced sensitivity to triggers such as noise, touch, and stress
  • Improved pain and functional ability in some patients
  • Better quality of life for some people receiving effective treatment
